Young Man With Confederate Hat Civil War Ambrotype
I have for sale an Ambrotype in a Gutta Percha case. The photo is of a young man with a Confederate Hat.
The estate this item is from had papers for a Confederate Soldier who was killed in the line of duty, I believe this is the young man. This is such a touching piece of history.The case is in decent condition but it has separated. The gold frame is very bright as is the actual picture. The closure is still in place.
