The sword measures 38 long and is complete with matching scabbard. The blade has a beautiful etched design. The blade has a dark patina and does show some rust and pitting. The gold wire wrapped leather grip is in excellent condition. Mcelroy with a date of 1861.
The guard is ornate with a CS design. This is a nice item and would make a great Christmas gift.
