Vintage Civil War Reenactment Confederate Wool Artillery Officer Uniform. (only thing that is not included are the shoes and the sword). 100% Wool double breasted Artillery coat, Matching Suit pants with suspenders, Matching under vest and a button up striped under shirt. Red tassels belt and the matching cap hat. This, and other costumes that i will list later in the month came from a large estate of the man in the picture.
He had many wonderful costumes, this one was in his personal and private collection. You will recieve the photograph of this great man with your outfit.My husband is 5 11 and is XL, wide shoulders- and it fits a little snug on the shoulders. So i would assume its somewhere between L and XL- but please follow measurements. Under button up stripe shirt. Marked on the back with numbers, no apparent stains. 6 across from collar to beginning of sleeve.
28 long overall length- top to bottom. 5.5 across from collar to end of vest (where a sleeve would have been). 21 long overall length - top to bottom. 4 pockets- two on each side.
Some darkening to the tassels fibers. Two gray stains on one side and light discoloration on another side. Tassels are 7.5 long. Belt is 112 long without the tassels to be wrapped around a few times.
Top button is loose, no stains- Clean! My husband is 34 waist and it fits him pretty good. 15 long from top of waist to bottom to crotch.
45 long from top to bottom. No stains, a bit wear to the inside.Tailcoat Swallowtail Double breasted Wool Artilery Coat. On my husband it fit but a bit tight on the shoulders.
3 gray light stains on the back of the collar- two on the back and one is faded and on the side of the stripes. Some scuffs to the buttons. Missing one of the two buttons that are in the lower back section where the tail starts.
6 across from collar to beginning of the sleeve. All together the uniform weighs 5 lbs! Overall EXCELLENT clean condition for its age and use!
