RARE Hard-to-Find Brown LEATHER Civil War CONFEDERATE HOLSTER withFlap Fair Cond
We are offering for sale a rare brown leather Civil War Confederate Leather Holster with flap. Holster measures 10 1/2" in length and 4" across the top. Brass knob for the flap closure is intact and the same as seen on many Confederate holsters, looks like a harness makers buggy top brass piece. The belt loop is a single loop, 1 1/4 wide and 4'' long.
In looking at the contour of the holster it looks like it had either a 1851, or 1861 navy revolver in it. The holster body is in good condition, missing the bottom plug, and the flap is in fair shape showing a lot of use. We have taken some closeups so you can see this piece for yourself.
