Original CIVIL WAR Confederate States CS Army Dug Egg Buckle
This week I will be listing a Civil War Collection from the Estate of a Virginia native. The collection was amassed during the 1970s and 80s and was focused on mostly Confederate States buckles and buttons. Most of the pieces are dug but not all.
Please look at my auctions to view this important collection. A lot of them were wired to a frame and marked on the back. I have done my best to preserve the marked pieces and include them in the individual auctions. This piece is a Confederate States Egg Buckle.
It measures 3 5/8" wide x 2 1/4" tall. The letters are very pronounced and it retains the remnants of the hook. This one Battlefield Recover Lowell Koch Dug.
