Original CIVIL War Confederate Cap Pouch Gettysburg Pickup Sherfy Farm

Obvious crudely constructed CS cap pouch attempting to copy a US version, hand-sewn, with two very thin leather belt loops crudely attached with some twine. I was told, verbal provenance, that this was bought from an old Gettysburg collection in the 1970's, and was found on the Sherfy Farm days after the battle.

It also came with some other items that were verified Confederate and battlefield pickups. The leather is stiff, and the condition checks out to the story. Feel free to ask any questions, and please see my other listings.
