Very Nice Original DENT-FREE Civil War Soldier's Tin BULLSEYE Canteen, Often Seen Used by Confederate Soldiers. Very nice original attic find Civil War classic BULLSEYE canteen, as shown. Nice aged patina and appearance overall, with no surface rust and NO dents, even minor, from use/storage!! One of nicest ones I've seen, and it will display extremely well! Bullseye style canteens are scarcer generally, and less frequently found than the smooth side style. Bullseye canteens are prominently seen on Confederate dead in several famous Brady battlefield photos, including Petersburg and Spottsylvania, confirming CSA use. A nice item in decent condition. Think of the background and history behind this!!
