Legends Mixed Media Noble Heart Bust General Lee Confederate Civil War Sculpture
A beautifully detailed hard to find limited edition metal mixed media bust sculpture entitled Robert E. Lee depicting Civil War Confederate Soldier General Robert E Lee in full uniform holding his hat in his hand, mounted on a marble plinth pedestal base by Legends & sculptor Willy Whitten. The statue measures 9 3/4" tall 6 1/4" wide and 4 3/4 deep and weighs over 8lbs. The statue is stamped on the back "601/950 Whitten 1995 Legends USA Mixed Media" and has a plaque on the back of the marble base that reads The Noble Heart Robert E.
This lovely collectible would display great in your home office desk, fireplace mantel, man cave, cabin, or make a nice gift. This is a quality keepsake that will last a lifetime and can be handed down from generation to generation.Here is some info about Legends mixed media process. Mixed media is a combination of various fine metals such as lost wax bronze, fine pewter, brass, copper, 24 karat gold vermeil and various hot torched acid patinas such as black nickel, rose copper, and turquoise, to highlight the sculpture.
In addition, the sculpture may contain embellishments such as Lucite. I acquire my items from local auctions, estate sales etc...
