ID'd ink inscribed CDV of Civil War confederate soldier J. The back is ink inscribed, possibly signed by Williams, of Woodstock, Virginia. James Harrison Williams was a Lt. In the 7th Virginia Cavalry and later Judge Advocate General of the Cavalry Corps under Jeb Stuart and Wade Hampton.
