Stanton, United States Secretary of War. It is the true story of their terrible ordeal of fire and starvation.

The book, written by one of the prisoners himself, presents a first-hand account of events dealing with the suffering and miseries of prison life during the late dreadful struggle for constitutional liberty. It presents full details and evidence of the maltreatment of Confederate soldiers. Voyage to Fort Delaware General Remarks THIS WRAP BOOKLET IS IN NEAR FINE CONDITION This original, first edition wrap booklet is in excellent overall condition. The booklet is clean and complete with light edge chipping to the exterior wrap. The booklet comes protected in a clear, archival sleeve (see photo #4). The binging is string sewn.

The binging is tight, but part of the exterior wrap is starting to detach, but remains present and attached except for about of third or the rear wrap. The pages are clean and there isnt a mark in the booklet. The pages have now markings on them.

This is not an ex-library booklet. The booklet contains a list of Immortal 600 Confederate prisoners. A very rare, original, first edition, uncommon items in nice overall condition.
