The war coverage carries over to pages 2 & 3 as well with: "The Great Victory" which comments on the Battle of Manassas; "Newspapers & Fault-Finders" Mr.

Crittenden, Kentucky & the South" "Necessity of Vigilance" "The Retreat From Laurel Hill" "Wants a Rebel Cent"; a letter from Manassas Junction" and more.
