Confederate States Civil War Sword with Original Scabbard 1861 Etched Blade
For sale is a Civil War with original matching scabbard. The sword measures approximately 36 long in the scabbard. The grip and guard are tight and in good condition.
The guard has a nice "CS" design. The etched blade has a very ornate design with a darkened patina with some rust and pitting, but nothing out of the ordinary for this type of item.
The blade is also dated "1861". I tried to get good pictures of the CSA design and date, but it was difficult.
