Also General Bragg's Address to the Army of Mississippi, HQ at Corinth praising their heroic deeds at the battle of Shiloh, saving the Army despite Yankee Gunboat bombardments, the capture of 3,000 Yankees, 25 flags & 14 guns, also a list on men of the "Natchez Southerns" wounded at Shiloh and arrived at Natchez. Other War news incl McClellan's Virginia Peninsula Campaign- the latest battle at Lee's Mill, armies at Cumberland Gap, a front page Endorsement of Lemuel Collins for Colonel of the Adams County Militia, also Recruiting ads for the Natchez Light Infantry and the Natchez Southrons, a report that Texas has recruited 44 regiments for the War, also ads for "Curry's Hotel Under the Hill" and ads for steamboats incl "The Natchez", The "General Quitman", the "Vicksburg" etc. A complete 2pp issue printed on locally manufactured Confederate paper stock.
