Civil War Confederate, Union Saddle bags
This is origional set of saddle bags as used by both Union and Confederate forces. This pattern with the Y straps is often considered as Confederate, however, clearly seen on one copper rivet is stamped "US". These bags are in very worn condition, and have seperated at the top strap. Some open seams, closure straps missing, though still has the iron buckles. With some effort, these could be restored to look good in a desplay.
