Civil War Confederate SC Cavalry Letters
Four original letters written by a South Carlina Cavalryman, William F. Wickham regarding a horse he left behind at the Wickham's Estate, Hickory Hill, outside of Richmond. Nothing earthshaking here but all letters are signed and dated and a few have notes added by W. Wickham is the father of General Williams C. Hampton's cavalry probably camped out at Hickory Hill on their ride North in 1863.
