Civil War Confederate Penitentiary Jacket Size 48 Wool with Cotton Lining
Natural, course, un-dyed Kersey Wool. Size 48-50, basing this on measurements with my tape measure and what I was told, but there is no tag showing actual size. Measures 25 across from armpit to armpit.
22.5 length from back bottom of collar to bottom hemline. 20 Sleeve length from armpit to end of sleeve.
This was bought from an estate sale and this is the information I received. Penitentiary jacket with both hand and machine stitching. T he jacket front features 7 wood buttons and one outer breast pocket.The collar is the same color and material as the jacket and the cuffs left plain. Beautiful jacket at a great price!
