CDV of Captain (later Col) George Wallace, 40th Mississippi. Col Wallace lost his arm at the Battle of Peach Tree Creek, GA in 1864. CDV condition is very good, with some fading.
No imprint on rear, but a few lines about Col. Wallace are neatly written in pencil. Overall nice CDV of a more obscure Confederate officer.
CDV comes in protective plastic case (not pictured). The item "Civil War Confederate CDV Carte De Viste of Capt. George Wallace, CSA" is in sale since Monday, April 04, 2016.
