Ca 1860's CIVIL WAR CDV CONFEDERATE OFFICER by WEARN & HIX, COLUMBIA S. Offered is a wet plate albumen Civil War Carte de Visite of an Confederate Officer. The image was taken by Wearn & Hix of Columbia, South Carolina. This is a seated studio view of the Officer and some tint has been added by the photographer to the buttons and cheeks. A few light dings and nicks to the edges and corners.
Pinch off the left edge from either being pulled or handled. Some foxing or soiling front and verso. Print shows light wear and rubs.
