Identified as James H McCulley. This came out of his Family's Estate. You can find his photo on Ancestry.
Its included on the paper showing his face on top of his Tombstone. I took many pictures up close of his Face so you can determine for yourself. 5.75" by 7.75".You can verify all this info online about James. Originally served as a Confederate Soldier, but in 1863 He Switched Sides & Joined the Union Army. He participated in the 13th US Tennessee Calvary in the battles of Bulls gap and blue Springs.
His unit was responsible for killing Confederate General John Hunt Morgan and capturing confederate President Jefferson Davis. McCulley survived the war, had 12 children and served as the 1st postwar Sheriff of Putnam County.
