Antique Civil War Tintype of a Pair of Brothers Possible Confederate Uniforms
This Antique Civil War Tintype features a portrait of two men, possibly brothers. Clothing of one looks like a possible Confederate military tunic. The image is black and white, framed in a case, and measures 2" x 2+". This unique piece captures a moment in history and is a one of a kind collectible for history enthusiasts and collectors alike. I have not removed the image from the case in fear of damaging the ornate framing that is in pristine condition. Not familiar enough with this type of item to tell the difference. If you can provide information I would appreciate it.

One feature of this item that the glass has been removed and reversed in the past. The ink inscription can be read by holding up to a mirror. Enclosed in a tooled leather case 3" x 3.5 ".
