Antique Case New Interior to Fit US Civil War Confederate LeMat Revolver
US TARIFF INCLUDED IN PRICE. Hi this is a Vintage Period wooden case that has been newly adapted to house a French LeMat Revolver as used by the Confederate side during the US Civil War. I can supply measurements for the revolver compartment to ensure a fit. This is based on the revolver without the extra finger guard stem and there is no lanyard ring on my model. If yours has these additions please advise and I can check measurements and add a ring and check if all fits if a ring size is supplied.
The large case is lovely quality with wood inlay and a brass stylised cartouche central. I hand make and use cotton velvet for the interior to all appear as a period case. For the lidded compartment I used old mahogany veneer on a slim wood lid. This is a comfortable friction fit. The box comes warts and all with usage marks and scratches. The original working lock and a key are present and all operating as they should.
