Probably a teenager in a gray uniform with single button up front. Not known who he was. It is guaranteed old and original. It is pen and ink.
Probably an enhanced albuminized salt print (photo) with penwork. It is on a cardstock. Matting is newer and rough cut. In a period mahogany veneer frame with old glass and backboard. Glass is wavy with bubbles. Has a hanging loop on top that is old but probably a replacement. This piece is guaranteed that it is a true antique and over 100 years old. Condition is good it's age. Drawing cardstock trimmed margins to fit frame. No rips, tears on cardstock. Matting is newer and roughly cut.Frame with corner miter slight separations. Frames veneer with scratches, dings, and minor losses typical of age. Has an old wood backboard.
The drawing itself measures about 8" x 5 1/4" (sight is about 7" by 4 7/8"). The frame measures about 11 1/8" by 9 1/8" overall (not including hanging loop). Scarce one of a kind antique original pen drawing is ready to hang. Price is for one antique framed drawing as pictured and described. Pictures are considered part of the description.
