ANTIQUE AMERICAN SHORT SWORD MARKED "CS" POSSIBLY CONFEDERATE CIVIL WAR ERA SHORT SWORD ARTILLERY OR NAVAL, BRASS HILT WITH FISH SCALE GRIP, MARKED ON THE GUARD FINIALS "CS" ON BOTH SIDES. THE BLADE IS WIDE DOUBLE EDGED AND IS MAKER MARKED ON LOWER PART, HARD TO MAKE OUT POSSIBLY READS AS "NASHVILLE PLOW WORKS" THE BLADE IS HEAVILY OXIDATED AND PITTED.
THE CONDITION IS FARE WITH MUCH PATINA AND PITTING, SOME DENTS TO THE HILT. BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. TOTAL LENGTH IS 26" BLADE LENGTH IS 20". Please refer to pictures for item condition.
