Home of the Mothers, Widows and Daughters of Confederate Soldiers Proceedings of the Fourth Anniversary Annual Report, including addresses and related material. Printed in Charleston, South Carolina, by Charleston Courier Book and Job Presses, 111 East Bay, 1872. This is an original Reconstruction-era Southern pamphlet documenting the work of a Confederate relief organization established to support the mothers, widows, and daughters of Confederate soldiers in the post-Civil War South. Such pamphlets were produced in limited numbers for meetings and donors and were typically discarded after use. Complete surviving examples-especially with intact wrappers-are scarce. Original wrapper present and intact. Light, age-related darkening/fading consistent with 19th-century paper. No tears, no bends, no losses. Internally complete with all pages present.

A strong, well-preserved example of postwar Confederate social and charitable history, appropriate for advanced Civil War, Southern history, or Reconstruction collections.
