At the lower right is a portrait of General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson who was wounded in battle by his own men at Chancellorsville in May 1863, he died days later. On the left is a Vignette of the Great Seal of the Confederacy with George Washington on a horse surrounded by the motto "Deo Vindice" which means "God vindicates". This Civil War era note is PMG Graded About Uncirculated 55 with "Tear" noted.
