This bond is one of the most popular of all confederate bonds among collectors, bearing the portrait of CSA General Stonewall Jackson. Authorized by an act of the Confederate Congress of February 20, 1863. This 7% bond is in fully original condition, still bearing 7 of its original interest coupons and printed on pink paper by Archer & Daly of Richmond, Virginia. This historic bond is ideal for framing measuring approximately 14" x 14" and is just part of a larger collection of obsolete and Southern states currency available online and at our store in Northern California.
Please take a moment to look at our extensive selection of US and World coins & currency. A word of caution - there are many copy replicas being offered in the marketplace, particularly online. This is a fully genuine Confederate bond and in fact shows the subsequent European bank bondholder's endorsement on the reverse. We only sell original notes and bonds.
