An interesting Confederate officers pay document from 1 862. 3 - Officer's Pay Account. Partially printed signed document, 10 x 8 1/4, August 28, 1862. Issued by the CSA to Lieut. Agar enlisted in July 1861 at New Orleans, served the duration of the war with his regiment, and was twice taken as a POW (Fort Jackson and Vicksburg).
