1862 $10 Confederate CIVIL War Currency- T-46 Ceres On Cotton Extremely Fine
Here is a nice Extremely Fine. (T-46) Features central vignette of Ceres reclining on cotton bales. Back is blank as issued, but with handwritten endorsement. (Certificate of Authenticity provided at no charge). This is actually an issue of 1861, with the date incorrectly engraved to read 1862, and was actually issued in 1861.
With a low printing of just 646,000 notes. Hand signed and numbered by Confederate officials J. Eggleston, for Register, and O.
An excellent Extremely Fine example of this scarce type. Wonderful centering and nice even margins - rarely seen on this issue. A very high grade for this issue!
