The center Vignette on this Civil War note features. With an eagle and the first National flag of the Confederacy. To the bottom left is a Vignette representing. This example has plate letter "A" which was supposed to be plate letter "D" but was assigned "A" after the failure of the Southern Bank Note Company to deliver some notes on schedule. This note grades Very Fine with internal crease splits / holes, small edge tears, a 1/2" tear on the top left, and a 3/8" tear on the right.
