1861 $500 Confederate States of America Bond -CSA Civil War Bond Cr 7 / Ball 6
From an old-time collection of U. It was among the earliest bonds issued at Montgomery by an act of the CSA Congress dated February 28, 1861. It's Criswell number 7 and Ball number 6. There is no engravers identification on the bond, but it was printed by the American Banknote company in New Orleans. This historic bond is ideal for framing. It measures approximately 13 1/2 inches wide, and just under 13 inches in length.
