From an old-time collection of U. Authorized by an act of the Confederate Congress of August 19, 1861. Hand signed 163 year old bond is in well-maintained condition showing only typical bank storage folds and modest paper aging. It bears the portrait of Provost Marshall General John H.
Only 2032 of these bonds were issued. This historic bond measures approximately 13 3/4 inches x 13 1/2 inches and is ideal for framing.
