1/9th Ambrotype Photograph Civil War Confederate Soldier Calvary 1860's
Up for your consideration is an amazing Civil War photograph of a Confederate Soldier in uniform. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels.
He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This is probably a calvary soldier as he has leather gloves on. This has been displayed in my fishing cottage for many years. This 1/9th ambrotype photograph depicts a Confederate soldier from the Civil War era. The photograph is an original piece and was manufactured in the United States.
