This kit is a non-cutaway model, but features a hull and casemate with scale thicknesses to allow modification to a cutaway. This model is mostly resin parts, but also features a number of cast metal fittings, brass rods, flag sheet, and detailed instructions. Special Note: The casting process for this model initially resulted in a minor shrinkage issue between the hull and deck sections. It is not a hard issue to fix in this kit, and CIM has experimented with, and provided an easy solution to the problem in the instructions.

I feel it is only fair to provide this comment in view of the size and price of this model. As always, CIM guarantees to provide new parts if you break, lose, or are missing anything stands. This model is large and requires a bit of time to produce, so CIM will be making these kits as quick as they can, and give them some lead time.
