Original CIVIL WAR Confederate LOUISIANA Pelican Buckle Plate Chancellorsville
This week I will be listing a Civil War Collection from the Estate of a Virginia native. The collection was amassed during the 1970s and 80s and was focused on mostly Confederate States buckles and buttons. Most of the pieces are dug but not all. A lot of them were wired to a frame and marked on the back. I have done my best to preserve the marked pieces and include them in the individual auctions. This piece is a Confederate Louisiana Buckle dug at the Chancellorsville, VA Battlefield. It measures 3 9/32" wide x 2 9/32" tall.
