Original Antique Civil War Confederate Arkansas Toothpick
This is a amazing antique knife, its 13 1/2 inches long overall with a 9 1/4 inch double edged blade. Its forged from a large file, you can still see some of the file teeth on its surface.
Its stamped with a primitive maker mark "R". Its a distinct looking mark and would be interesting to find out who done it. The knife has a brass guard and pommel cap, with a hardwood handle that has very decorative brass collars on each end. This knife comes with its original sheath for a perfect fit with the knife. The sheath is sewn along the middle of the back with a brass collar around the throat with a brass loop on one side, also the tip is made of brass and copper. The guard and pommel are tight the brass collars are loose.
