Copied from a scrap-book kept by a young girl during and immediately after the war, with additions from war copies of the Southern Literary Messenger and Illustrated News loaned by friends, and other selections as accredited. Published for the benefit of the Memorial Bazaar, held in Richmond, April 11, 1893.
Hill Printing Company, Richmond, VA. The book measures 15.5cm x 23cm. Please look at all the photos for the best understanding of the condition and contents. There are some signs of age, use and wear.The hard cover is noticeably faded and discoloured, some wear of the edges and general surface. A small section of the spine has been caught against something, creating a small tear to the cloth binding. There is some occasional age/use related page discolouration/creasing dotted throughout, brown spotting/foxing etc. All text is clearly legible. Overall contents binding appears strong, tight and complete. There is a previous owner inscription on the title page, directly above the title. Overall remains in good reading condition, with as described clear signs of age, use and wear.
